The Catwoman LEGO figure from the Batman LEGO sets is definitely on the list of minifigs that collectors are after. The Catwoman minifig is very rare and typically sells for much more than most LEGO mini figures do. There is not as much of a fanbase for the LEGO Batman sets as there are for other themes and LEGO seems to have put Batman LEGO systems on the back burner so fans need to turn elsewhere to find the rare Catwoman LEGO mini figure.

The only LEGO set that includes a Catwoman minifig is the The Batman Dragster: Catwoman Pursuit 7779. This LEGO set is very hard to find and can sell for in the $150 range on sites like Amazon and eBay. You can find it for less if you don't mind it being already opened and played with. Mind you that price is for a LEGO set that is very small! With less than 100 pieces and only two LEGO Batman mini figures the price collectors are willing to pay for this set is nothing short of insane. For this reason some fans choose to purchase just the Catwoman mini figure without the rest of the set.

As we all know Catwoman is arguably Batman's favorite rival. The two have been portrayed in comics and films alike as being a bit flirty with each other and Batman has always hesitated to harm Catwoman in any way even when there is just cause for doing so.

A tip for finding a cheap LEGO Catwoman mini figure is to check out auctions on eBay for bulk LEGO sets or bulk lots of LEGO mini figures for sale. Often times a seller on eBay is not up to speed on the value of the LEGO mini figures he or she is selling and so they may under price a bulk lot of LEGO minifigs. If there happens to be a Catwoman mini figure in there you might get a significantly good deal.

LEGO Figures can be the most popular part of collecting LEGO sets to many fans. The LEGO Group first released lego figures in 1974 with the difference being the original figures did not have moving arms or legs.

Todays version of LEGO figures were first introduced in 1978 but they were much simpler than designs seen today. They had a plain yellow face with two eyes and a smile. Figures did not see a change from this until the Pirate figures in 1989 which had a variety of facial expressions. LEGO figures are timeless and are the base for the design of most LEGO sets.
LEGO figures are also commonly referred to as "mini figures" and "minifigs" and sometimes just "LEGO people."

Star Wars Figures

In 1999 the LEGO Group began producing its first licensed LEGO theme. LEGO partnered with LucasFilms to bring LEGO Star Wars sets to much fanfare. This marriage was a great way to spur growth for LEGO building blocks and help expand its fanbase.

LEGO Star Wars figures are probably the most collectible figures produced by LEGO. Many of the LEGO Star Wars figures are very hard to find and very much desirable to collectors of both LEGO and Star Wars. This has created a demand for certain LEGO figures that we have not seen for any other LEGO figures from the other themes. Because of the popularity the Star Wars characters, fans were all over the LEGO figure versions of them. Star Wars fans are known for their love of collecting anything licensed under the Star Wars brand and LEGO figures are no different.

Batman Figures

Batman has been popular with comic book fans for ages! There are several big time films that have been created for the Batman series, including the summer of 2008 huge blockbuster film, The Dark Knight. The LEGO sets released for the Batman theme contain many of the most popular heroes and villains as LEGO Batman figures. These are a must for fans of the Batman theme and are not all that difficult to acquire if one is dilligent.

As popular as the Dark Knight may be, the violence in the film may have been to much for the LEGO Group. There have not been very many releases of the LEGO themed sets since the film was released.

The Castle LEGO theme is one of the older themes still supported by the LEGO Group. LEGO tries out new themed sets all the time and many get swept under the rug when they don't live up to expectations. The Castle theme has been around for a long time and should continue to be supported.

The LEGO Castle figures are some of the coolest you will find with many accessories and even horses! Very cool. There are many Castle LEGO sets that have been released to date because it was first released in 1978! There are many sets that are considered rare LEGO sets and are very valuable along with the LEGO Castle figures that come with these sets. The Castle series of LEGO systems are a huge part of the reason LEGO is such a popular toy.

Pirate Figures

The Pirate LEGO theme is special to many LEGO fans because it is considered to be the first in the line of extremely creative themes that the LEGO Group is now known for. The LEGO Pirate figures that come with the early sets were the first LEGO figures that had different facial expressions and accessories to personalize the LEGO figures. These included hair, eye patches, peg legs, and other ways to make the figures unique. This added to the collectibility of these LEGO figures.

The Pirate themed LEGO system was released in 1989 and has had many sets released under the Pirate label. This theme was actually discontinued at one point but was brought back by the LEGO Group for an anniversary edition in mini figure scale in 2009.

Harry Potter Figures

The Harry Potter themed LEGO sets are based on the popular series of books and movies of the same name. Harry Potter is another great example of the LEGO Group licensing an already popular theme and drawing new fans and interest to its popular building block.

The LEGO Harry Potter figures are true to the movies and very fun to play with and collect for LEGO fans of all ages. From villains to Harry Potter himself, there are quite a few LEGO Harry Potter figures to choose from and you can never get bored tracking down all of these figures.
